GRASSROOTS AND COMMUNITY CHANGE
The most powerful agent of change in any community is the minds of the people living in it. One Solution provides educational programs, events, internships, and train-the-trainer programs to help teens, young adults, parents, and schools in at-risk communities. These programs educate community residents about the mind to directly address issues such as violence, hopelessness, school attendance, domestic conflicts, advocacy within the education system, and overall community well-being. Our main priority is to educate the next generation about the mind, making them more resilient and capable at breaking the cycles of violence and poverty they may have been born into. In order to empower youth, we also collaborate with parents, school systems, and criminal justice systems as these are inextricably linked with the well-being of youth.
